The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me!

Hope you have your warm tea or fizz sparking water ready!

Week 1

Since I started Arbonne, my dinners have been healthier not only for me, but my whole family. My husband (that isn’t on the 30 day cleanse) has lost a total of 7 lbs this first week just with eating “healthier”. I say “healthier” because I do give him and my daughter their potatoes and bread etc. They didn’t ask for this lifestyle, therefore, I’m not depriving them. Moving onto my daughter, as long as I can remember, she’s always had dark circles under her eyes. It has always been challenging feeding this girl protein! Her, being the loving daughter she is, knows how important it is for me to get healthy at this point in my life. She has been eating her greens and protien everynight for dinner and her dark circles under her eyes are subsidizing tremendously! Being able to have a good healthy meal on the table every night before 7pm has allowed us to have some family time after dinner, get our food digested and have a good sleep without any aching stomach pains in the morning. Okay… so the big moment. Me. My first week. I made it out alive!

Day 1. Testing out the product.
Taste was good! Green balance was, eh. By noon, I pretty much felt like I had my breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the day and I couldn’t possibly put anything else in my body! And… I didn’t. Bad idea, when your body isn’t getting the food it needs, we store fat. Our meal for the day is very important!

Day 2. The day after no soild food.
Woke up really hungry, almost did the same thing as the previous day. Fought through the feeling of being “protien shake full” and made a delicious Arbonne approved dinner that for sure passed my 7PM deadline! 😱 You live. You learn. Weak moment, I begged my husband for one bite of his soft buttery looking Hawaiian roll. So, that failed… moving on. As my husband got up to take his finished plate to the kitchen, I asked my one and only loving daughter for one bite of her buttery looking Hawaiian roll. Failed again. No soft sweet buttery dinner roll for me.

Day 3. The moment of wanting to give up.
This was the day I told my friend I wanted to layer a Bakers burrito, a Tacobell double decker and a Jack in the Box crispy chicken strip and bite into them all at once! This was a another weak moment of thought forrrr surrrre. Day three, my cravings hit hard, and to my surprise this was the day I was 100% Arbonne perfect.

Day 4. I’ll admit.

The day was beautiful, birds were chirping, Disneylands new ride, Rise of the Resistance was hours away from changing my top 3 favorite Disneyland rides forever. My first all day trip that I thought I was 100% prepared for, took a hard turn real quick. Let’s just say… don’t violently shake sparkling water(duh) with fizz and a tea bag in a tight seal water bottle in the car. The dark side of the force took over. I’ll admit, I cheated. Next time I’ll have extra of everything!

Day 5. Realization.

Hello day five. From my somewhat bad cheat day, I realized I really needed to be positive, I needed to be serious. I needed my husband not to look at me sideways when I’m complaining about things! I wanted this, right?! I went into day five doing everything that is expected of me with a good attitude! You have to know your body, and what’s good for you. Even though I was craving certain things, you have to think about how it’s going to make you feel later on. Of course I’m not going to eat perfectly my whole life and I want to know, why do we do that? Why do we excessively eat things that satisfies our tastebuds for the moment, but hurts our bodies minutes later? Balance. I’m finding balance through Arbonne.

Day 6. Coaches are the Fizz!

Coaches are there for you. They root for you, they check up on you, they even customize personal plans if you’re having a restroom issue (constipation) not me of course… 😏 Updates are important for the simple fact that, THEY HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE and they will help you with the essentials for this to be successful in your life. Share recipes, take pictures of ingredients, ask a lot of quetions.

Day 7. Sunday Night Football & Company.

Siete Chips. Guac. Siete Chips. Guac. Cashews. Fruit. Did I mention Siete chips? Remembering to just SNACK is important. These babies are so good we want to keep eating them. Day seven, I am really getting the hang of things. When they say give it a week. Truly give it a week. Green balance taste better, only had one headache that didn’t last too long, bowel movement is getting back to normal with my personalized plan. I’m more confident with purching approved ingredients and I truly stopped focusing on what I can’t eat instead of what I can. It makes life easier. Trust…

Oh, I also lost 5 lbs. Woohoo! (I say woohoo a lot)

Until next week friends. Stay strong.
